"Pok mon Go" just got a lot bigger this week, by about 80 Pok mon or so!

That's huge - like, Snorlax-huge - considering that the game started with only 142 of the original 151 Pok mon, the so-called "Gen 1" Pok mon. But in reality, there are hundreds of Pok mon, and the folks behind "Pok mon Go" are finally dipping back into the Pok dex for some new faces.

A new update is now live that finally allows you to catch the much-requested "Johto" region Pok mon from "Pok mon Silver & Gold" (aka "Gen 2" Pok mon). Of note: there are 100 Pok mon listed below, but some of these 100 aren't likely to appear in "Pok mon Go" (like all the Legendary Pok mon, for instance).
